Weed & Seed is a project of US DOJ - United States Dept. of Justice

Brooklyn East New York Weed and Seed Project purpose is to unite its residents, law enforcement and other community organizations, and through meaningful collaboration, seeks to enhance the quality of life by maximizing federal, state and local resources, both public and private, to reduce crime, improve housing, and provide educational and recreational activities for its children and adults.

Participation is open to interested public and private agencies, groups, businesses and individuals, who service, live in, are employed in, or otherwise have a relationship with the Weed and Seed target area and can offer input into current and/or new Weed and Seed goals. No one shall be discriminated against based upon race, religion, age, marital status, physical ability, political beliefs or economic status.
